Having done it the hospitalized way and done it with HypnoBirthing, there was no comparison. My husband was brilliant. A couple of days before the birth I said to him, “I don’t think I can do it”, but he said, “Don’t be so silly, of course you can” and I did. His comment afterwards was, “It was unbelievable”.
There was one moment when I thought’ “Oh my god, I don’t think I can do this” but he said’ “Of course you can”, and it was OK. My baby was born in two and a half hours, and his heart was strong throughout. It caught the midwives a bit off guard, but they were wonderful. The midwife said. “You just breathed that baby out”, and he weighed 9lbs3ozs.
