Having done it the hospitalized way and done it with HypnoBirthing, there was no comparison. My husband was brilliant. A couple of days before the birth I said to him, “I don’t think I can do it”, but he said, “Don’t be so silly, of course you can” and I did. His comment afterwards was, “It was unbelievable”. There was one moment when I thought’ “Oh my god, I don’t think I can do this” but he said’ “Of course you can”, and it was OK. My baby was born in two and a half hours, and his heart was strong throughout. It caught the midwives a bit off guard, but they were wonderful. The midwife said. “You just breathed that baby out”, and he weighed 9lbs3ozs. Emma, London

How does Hypnobirthing work?Hypnobirthing is a completely logical and extremely effective tried-and-tested method that lets you discover the joy and magic of birth, and is much more than just self-hypnosis or hypnotherapy. It is deeply relaxing and effective, and allows your mind and your body to work in harmony, the way nature intended. Hypnobirthing is a complete ante-natal course. |

Real HypnoBirthing Stories
Having spoken to the other mothers from NCT, I think I was very lucky with the birth of Elena – the experience was absolutely magical!!! Elena and I remained very calm throughout, and she arrived with just the help of a midwife. The room was softly lit, and the atmosphere was so calm it was surreal – absolutely amazing!! The midwife was amazed at how Elena was so chilled after her arrival and best of all not only recognised my voice but that of her Dad.
