We wanted to thank you for the positive influence we feel you brought to my pregnancy and the baby’s birth.  The HypnoBirthing experience is one we would definitely recommend, and I’d be more than happy to sing your praises to any expectant mothers.

Our midwife said we made her week, that she enjoyed our birth so much, and she is a HypnoBirthing convert now.  Word soon got around the ward that I had been a HypnoBirthing mum.

I had my daughter after only five hours of labour, giving birth totally naturally and without any pain relief, in an inflatable pool at home with my husband. I used my HypnoBirthing techniques throughout the first stage of labour, and found it immensely helpful – not only for pain relief, but also in terms of feeling prepared for the birth and looking forward to the event with positive anticipation.

The HypnoBirthing course was invaluable in allowing me to keep calm throughout.  The experience of being there to see her birth was just magical for us both, and we enjoyed a relaxing time afterwards drinking tea and bonding with the baby.

Before the birth:
I have to tell you – I’ve just come back from my 25 week midwife appointment and she is thrilled that I’m doing a HypnoBirthing course – she was really interested in it.  The midwife I spoke to only knew one woman who had used it and she was the wife of the head of obstetrics at a local hospital – the feedback was that she had an incredible (and incredibly quick) birth.

Can’t wait to learn more.

After the birth:
I can honestly put my hand on my heart and say it didn’t hurt.  I was amazed how powerful it was, but it wasn’t painful.  The midwife said it was the most in control first birth she’d ever seen, and my baby arrived 2.5 hours before the she expected (7hr labour).
