Katharine provides the core hypnobirthing techniques and also has a unique breadth of experience, gained over many years in complementary medicine, that has given her the expertise to offer guidance in many areas to care for the health and wellbeing of expectant mothers, fathers and new born babies.

Nearly 10 years ago, like many others, she trained in the American Hypnobirthing method brought over by Marie Mongan. She also trained with Michelle LeClaire, the founder of Hypnobirthing. Since then she has developed the course for the better support of mothers in the UK while remaining true to the fundamental principles.

Katharine has a rare depth of understanding of childbirth having trained as a doula with Michel Odent, the leading obstetrician who started water births. Her holistic approach has made her courses increasingly popular, with a growing list of moving and positive birthing stories.

Whether it is your first or fourth, the birth of any child is a hugely emotional and rewarding experience. Katharine will teach you these invaluable Hypnobirthing techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment; very informative but also a lot of fun!

Katharine's Hypnobirthing course has recently been filmed for a BBC documentary on Hypnobirthing she has also had an article published in The Times.

She has lectured on Hypnobirthing at Bournemouth University and Salisbury Hospital and has taken part in workshops at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.

Katharine has four grown-up children as well as an ever growing 'family' of hypnobirthing babies.
