We are delighted to have our new Hypnobirthing relaxation CDs and Hypnobirthing breastfeeding CDs available, and to make it as easy as possible to access these for the widest possible audience we have created both a physical CD that we can mail out to you, and also downloadable hypnobirthing MP3s that you can burn to a CD to play from your stereo, or add to an iPod or MP3 player to listen at your leisure.
Now before you throw up your hands in horror (those of us that are non-tecchies anyway) its quite simple to download and burn the tracks to a normal CD, and also cheaper than us posting you a CD, so we've written some simple instructions here for you to download your Hypnobirthing relaxation tracks and Hypnobirthing breastfeeding tracks.
How to download:
- Purchase your Hypnobirthing MP3s from our shop
- You receive an email with a download link, click this and you will be taken to a page to download your MP3s
- Click the download link, and save the files to your computer
Note: If you do not receive an email with your download link within a few hours, please contact us immediately. Also remember to check your junk email.
Once you have downloaded your MP3s:
Your download will be in either MP3 format ready to use, or if it is a download with multiple tracks, they will be compressed within a .ZIP file.
If they are already in MP3 format you can skip the following step.
You can now play them through any media player software on your computer (iTunes, Windows Media Player etc) and
If they are in a ZIP file, please do the following;
How to unzip your MP3s:
Once you have downloaded your .zip, you need some software to extract the MP3s into their separate tracks
If you have a Windows computer, you should have this software already built in. In this case, do the following depending on what operating system you have;
Windows Vista and above;
- Simply right click the .zip file and click 'Extract all'
- You will be given the option on where to save them. Save them to a location you will remember.
Windows XP;
- Right click the .zip file and highlight 'Open with'
- A new set of options will appear, click the one that says 'Compressed zip folders'
- You should now see the individual MP3 tracks, now click 'Extract all files' from the folder tasks menu on the left
If you don't have any unzipping software;
Don't worry. If you do not have this unzipping software already, you just need to download it.
There are many free applications on the internet to do this, but we reccommend 7-Zip. (http://www.7-zip.org/)
Unzipping with 7-Zip
- Download 7-Zip from their website or simply click here and install it
- Once you have installed it, right click your .zip file and highlight '7-Zip' from the menu
- Select extract all and save the files into a location you will remember
You now should have all the tracks individually saved on your computer, ready to burn to a CD or copy onto your MP3 player.
How to put the tracks onto a CD:
- Check that your PC has a CD read / write drive on it. If it is read only then you can't burn a CD. You could still listen from your computer or send to an iPod however.
- If you don't have a CD burner programme then you can download one for free - popular ones include iTunes, Windows Media Player and Nero.
- We will give instructions here for iTunes because we find that easy to use. You can also get detailed instructions for installing and burning with the Windows Media Player and Nero from their web sites.
- You can download iTunes from here
- Then run the iTunes installation programme on your computer.
- Once you have installed iTunes open the programme.
- On the top menu select File / Add files to Library
- Select your mp3 files and import them into iTunes.
- You will see there is now an "Album" in iTunes for artist Katharine Graves.
- You need to create a "Playlist" before you can burn a CD.
- On the top Menu, select File / New Playlist - then call it whatever you like.
- Drag the two hypnobirthing files into this new Playlist.
- Finally you are ready to burn your CD.
- Put a blank CD-R or CD-RW into your computer's CD drive.
- Highlight your playlist (left hand manu in iTunes) and click "Burn CD" (Bottom right of iTunes)
- This should be an "Audio CD" if you want to play it in a normal CD player.
All done, listen and enjoy! Please contact us if you have any problems or questions.
Good luck and enjoy! Katharine
