The amazing thing for me about having one child was the realization that love isn't finite.
Rather than being a limited quantity which gets shared across all people to whom you want to give it, there are - in my instance anyway - individual buckets which seem to be endless.
So when we had our first son I suddenly understood that the infinite love I had for him didn't mean that my infinite love for my wife was lessened. And it turns out that with even more people you love the rule continues to apply.
So it is with great humility and a huge amount of pride and love that I thank my wife for empowering me to introduce our second son.
Born 3 June 2010 at 14:43, weighing 8lb 9 oz (3.870 kg) and at 53cm in length even bigger than his brother if that's possible to believe.
My wife is beyond awesome.
Lots of love,
Jeff, Kerri, Tenny and Finley

 Dear Katharine,
We have been graced with the most beautifully relaxed and contented daughter which we are so thankful for. Her calm personality 'we are sure' is a direct result of the techniques and guidance we recd from you during our course in May.
As the husband (and birth partner!!) I felt in complete control of the room and discussed with the midwife our exact ideas for the day and how WE wanted it to progress. This allowed my wife to concentrate fully on the act of birthing our child, which as you would have expected went perfectly to plan, 2 hours from arrival at the birth centre Elsie was born in the pool to 2 ecstatic parents.

Dear Katharine
Sarah and I are overjoyed to introduce you to our darling baby daughter Jessica Alice Taylor born last Wednesday 12 March 2008 at 11h39 in Kingston hospital. Jessica weighed 2.75 Kg's (6lbs1oz) and both Sarah and her are well and thriving together.
Sarah did so well with us using only hypno-birthing, visualisation, massage and homoeopathy techniques throughout the labour. We did use the TENS machine briefly early on, but as you had suggested I could see how this was interfering with Sarah's inner focus so we stopped this. She tried the entanox briefly in hospital but this also was not an option.

Just to let you know that we have a beautiful daughter called Emily Anna. She was born on 16th July at 4.57pm and weighed 7lbs8.5ozs. Apologies for the delay in letting you know but, since Emily’s birth, life has been a bit of a whirlwind. The labour went very well with no medical intervention and Denise gave birth in the water, which was fantastic and what we wanted. |

My wife got the home birth that she really wanted and she coped with no pain relief, just relying on the HypnoBirthing techniques from your classes. The first significant surges started about 24 hours before the baby made an appearance with the midwives giving an official labour length of 10 hours. |
