A father's experience of a hypnobirthing and a non-hypnobirthing birthMy wife and I have three children, one hospital born and two subsequent home births using the Hypno-Birthing technique. To say that we have experienced the extremes of child birth would be to put it mildly.
I have seen my wife deliver with both physical and emotional trauma and then have also seen her deliver with a calmness and serenity that defied my previous held belief.

Monkey Number Two Arrives!The amazing thing for me about having one child was the realization that love isn't finite.
Rather than being a limited quantity which gets shared across all people to whom you want to give it, there are - in my instance anyway - individual buckets which seem to be endless.

Apologies for the delay in letting you know but, since Emily’s birth, life has been a bit of a whirlwind.
